Join Our Team
What does it take?
We’re looking for honest, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals who have integrity and are driven to help the local community. You don’t need any prior babysitting or pet sitting experience either—we’ll help provide you with resources and allow you to kick start your journey.
What will I do?
As a child sitter, your job is to do what any other babysitter does: take care of parents’ children while prioritizing fun and safety! Because we’re sitters with a twist, you won’t be ignoring the child to watch TV—instead, you’ll be bringing activities with you to let the kids have fun. You may also need to help with bedtime and bath time, and be ready to deal with the occasional tantrum.
As a pet sitter, your job is to take care of people’s pets and make sure they stay clean, happy and healthy. That may require feeding, scooping litter boxes or walking the dog, but most of all it requires love and attention!
What do I need to do?
In order to become a sitter (babysitter and pet sitter) here on Horsetooth Helping Hands, you’ll need to have and maintain a CPR certification and be an enthusiastic individual with integrity. We’re open to community youth looking to start their career and hope to see you as part of our team! As a sitter, we hope that you’ll help us distribute flyers to grow our network!
What will I get from it?
After you apply, we’ll notify you within a few days about the status of your application. If you’re accepted, we’ll work with you to create a profile that will be published right here on Horsetooth Helping Hands for all parents and pet-owners of Poudre Valley to see. Each sitter receives a base pay of $20 per hour for their hard work!
