Horsetooth Helping Hands is a student-founded network based in Fort Collins that aims to help connect parents and pet-owners with CPR/First-Aid certified local youth sitters—with a twist!
Every one of our sitters brings age-appropriate, non-screen activities with them. By the time you’re back, your children and pets will be wishing you went out more often!
Founded, owned and operated by a dedicated 12th grade student, Horsetooth Helping Hands takes pride in providing job opportunities for youth struggling in today’s job market.

Book a sitter
Book any of our sitters, or schedule a free online interview. Check sitter profiles for availability.

When you’re ready to select a sitter, locate the “Book a Sitter” button on their profile. Fill out the form and make sure the availability matches what they have listed on their profile.

No, every sitter (pet and child) charges the same base rate for sitting. Additional fees may apply if you want the sitter to bring consumable crafts, like painting sets or crochet kits, or if you’re outside of the range shown on the Locations page.

At the end of their shift, sitters will collect their payment from you individually. Most sitters will accept cash, and some will accept Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, or other payment methods.

If you’d like, we offer free google meets interviews with each sitter before you book them. You can find more information on each sitter’s profile.

Some of our babysitters have experience with children who have disabilities, though the pool may be limited. Each sitter will specify on their profile what they are comfortable with.
